When the angel of God visited Gideon and told him about the assignment which was set aside for him, Gideon thought it was too big for him. He looked at his family background and disqualified himself...
Amplified Bible: Judges 6:14-16 The Lord turned to him and said, Go in this your might, and you shall save Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you? Gideon said to Him, Oh Lord, how can I deliver Israel? Behold, my clan is the poorest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house. The Lord said to him, Surely I will be with you, and you shall smite the Midianites as one man.
They are many Christians who are still behaving and acting like Gideon in this generation. They look down upon themselves forgetting the one backing them. God is on your side and you can be anything in this world. Your background or nationality will not determine what you will achieve in life. God on your side is all you need to be anything in this world.
Gideon later on led the Israelites and had a great victory. Nothing can stop you as long as God is on your side.
What is it that you want to be in this world? Fear not ...God is backing you.
Go out there and do exploits... You are not ordinary. Christ lives in you.
Meditate on:-
Amplified Bible: Philippians 4:13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
